Photolab 10 - What we miss

Hi,
what we miss in Photolab 10:

  • The tray icon … Why?
Wildlife photographers often shoot in burst mode and get thousands of pics per day. From a burst series of 30 pics only e.g. two are worth to keep (plus jpg & RAW …). So we need a quick possibility to select and delete files without using the right mouse button pop up menue. Right mouse button is too slow and includes the danger of hitting the wrong menue item.

Using the keyboard with Shift+Del is also not very efficient as you need to remove your hand from the mouse.

So please bring the trash trax icon back! I’m sure that also Mac users would be happy about this feature.

  • Android DNG support … there should be DNG saupport at least for the high end camera phones like Google Pixel, Samsung S series and Sony Xperia.

  • JXL support for exports … Why? JXL is the new upcomig standard for compressed digital images. Please add *.JXL as an export format to Photolab.

    See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JPEG_XL

Hi, there are open feature requests for all of these. I suggest searching the forum for PhotoLab feature requests that match each topic and add votes and comments to them. When you post comments to a topic, that topic is bumped to the top of the list of new posts.

All these items

All these topics have been raised as a feature request (some already years ago) … but DxO dosen’t care … e.g. the Android DNG support.

I still miss vignette tool (requires filmpack) and ai object removal.
