Hobbies like photography have to fit into the timetable, even for pensioners. As SWMBO wanted to be at the hairdresser this morning, it was nearly 11am when I was able to get to my shooting spot. The Sun, bless it, was beginning to burn off the morning mist, and was doing its best to get into my shot. So the Sooc colours are a bit dull, as you can see here from the first frame.
The family history of ataxia probably explains in part why I got nowhere with curves and colour fiddling. In the end, I pitched the whole series through this set of modifications:
D6701456.ARW.dop (20.6 KB)
Exported as TIFF to Affinity Photo 2’s Panorama tool, then back into PL8 to polish up the sky.
P2.tiff.dop (83.8 KB)
I’m open to suggestions as to how I could have done without ClearView to counteract the backlighting and mist … bearing in mind I have Nik 6 but not FP
Cheers
Mike
