I tried creating a custom workspace with specific palettes on the left side of the screen when I a customizing a photo. Initially all of them were actually just “floating” over there and they would stay on the screen when I minized the main PL window. I managed to get most of them stuck permanently on the side by carefully moving them closer togther. However I am still left with one palette perpetually independent from the rest of them.
I nudged them a little more and it looks like all of the palettes are locked together. It would be nice if the process was a little easier and the application just understood my intent when the palettes were reasonably close together. But I suppose there is some out there who does like floating palettes
PhotoLab does that…but has a slightly different idea about “reasonably close”.
On my Mac, each palette has a hamburger menu near the right end of the palette title bar. Click on the hamburger and scroll to the top…to find a command that will dock the stray palette either left or right. If palettes get off track when you reorder them, just use the hamburger menu
