You’re right but I can only say it of those specific images in retrospect. I had not encountered this problem with jpegs in PL before. It’s just a case of encountering .WebP images disguised as .jpg for the first time coinciding with my using my new PL9 for the first time. All the other apps I’m using turn out to be indifferent to the disguise.

Flemish and Dutch are similar.
And Oud Beierland is on the border between Zeeland and Holland.

When I visited Belgium I found Flemish easier to understand than Dutch. Dunno, maybe it has something to do with Afrikaans growing more out of commoner Dutch (what we called kombuis-taal) than standard Dutch (what we called Hoogs-Hollands).
