I love the new Luminance Channel setting in curves particularly combined with the Tone Picker tools. However, I sometimes forget to switch from RGB to L.
Could we have a setting to make L the default?
I tried saving a preset with L set but it didn’t work.

Do you mean Luma ? Luminance is not the same as Luma
For most people, they don’t care about precise definitions, “L” means something to do with lumi-something, which is not RGB. KISS 
Well, the tooltip on the “L” button says “Luminance Channel” which is why I used it, so probably better take that up with DXO devs.
But thank you for prompting me to finally learn the difference. After 5 minutes with my AI of choice, I now understand that it is in fact luma that is being changed
