OM System OM-3 Support

Hi @Marie any idea when we can expect DxO PhotoLab support for OM System OM-3?

I already have the body, but am reluctant to use in my professional work until supported with DxO PhotoLab.

Thanks so much in advance!

Davey

I believe there’s a way around it change exif data as sensor is same as previous OM cameras

Of course, but OM System is continually adjusting how their sensors are implemented in each body, so we get better results with a native profile.

Hello @daveywilson ,

OM-3 will be supported in less than a month.

@Marie A new release before the 15.04.?

Exciting!!!

Thanks so much as always! :pray:t2:

I might be mistaken but DXO PL8 still does not have OM-3 support

A curiosity question:

Essentially, as I understand it, the OM-3 offers pretty much the same image-capturing technology as its OM-1 sibling - but in a retro-style configuration.

Why did OM-3 owners choose this body (over the OM-1) ?

As I said; I’m just curious … No judgement (either way) is intended to be implied.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder :grinning:but I would guess the OM3 gives you the same sensor tech for a bit less money in a smaller form factor.
OM1 for long lenses eg wildlife/birding and OM3 for street/travel?

That would be tomorrow. Can you confirm?

I have the OM1M2 for more adventurous activities and the OM-3 for in-town use … I like the OM-3 for in-town since I pair it with smaller lenses and without the big grip and black body, it is less conspicuous . Also easier to fit in a smaller bag
