Important notice - Do not update to NVIDIA driver 616.56
Hi everyone,
NVIDIA released driver 616.56 on August 26. Since then, serious issues have been widely reported on some Windows configurations.
This is not specific to DxO applications. Reports across the web point to a broader regression in this driver: display flickering, brief black screens and colour shifts (browsers, Discord, video playback), crashes in some 3D applications and games, and problems with virtual displays. Affected setups span RTX 30, 40 and 50 series, on both desktops and laptops. Some configurations show no problem at all.
Our recommendation:
- If you have not installed 616.56 yet, please wait. Stay on your current driver (610.88 for most users).
- If you have already installed it and are experiencing problems, roll back to your previous driver version. You can download 610.88 from NVIDIA’s driver archive and choose a clean installation during setup.
macOS users are not affected.
We are in direct contact with NVIDIA on this and will update this thread as soon as we have more information.
