Just in case …
In the Release Notes, which you can download separately from NVidia’s driver page (here … v610.88, chapter 5.12/ 5.13), you find instructions how to successfully remove the graphic driver. Please check it out if you haven’t. It might help to resolve your problem.
You might try switching your AI Acceleration setting between “GPU only” to “CPU Only”. Settings>Advanced>AI Acceleration. Your problem is not a PL problem, it’s a conflict with your graphics card. And it may be time to go 32 gigs of memory even though your card is only a little over a year old, and you may have to go to the 5090 series to get 32 gigs, which means a new card at $5,000, way more than a brand-new Mac, and certainly way more than a slightly used 2023 or 2024 Mac M2 or M3. 16 gigs is a baseline minimum. And I know this risks angering you, and I do apologize, but with all due respect, here’s another reason to go Mac. Mac users just don’t have these kinds of problems; not EVER. Just want to share my own experience - latest August Studio driver 616.56 with RTX 5070 - all works fine as usual and including export and all other functions in PL 9.12.
I know many people have a lot of issues with this driver, but in my own experience its very stable in photo and video editing (PhotoLab 9, DaVinci Resolve) and gaming (Battlefield 6, CyberPunk 2077).

Working directly with NVIDIA, DxO identified the cause and adapted PhotoLab accordingly. Photographers can now use PhotoLab as expected with NVIDIA driver 616.56, with no impact on image quality or processing performance. After installing PhotoLab 10.0.1, rolling back the NVIDIA driver is no longer necessary for PhotoLab.
The update also resolves several other Windows issues:
AI features on multi-GPU configurations: AI-powered tools now work as expected on computers equipped with more than one NVIDIA or AMD graphics card.
AI-powered Dust Removal on Intel Arc: AI-powered Dust Removal now works as expected on computers using an Intel Arc graphics card.
Multi-display configurations: a random crash that could occur while using PhotoLab, mainly on multi-display systems, has been fixed.
