NIK Collection button

I guess this is 2 questions in one, but bear with me because I’ll always try to get more than I deserve.

SilverFX Pro is part of my workflow, so love having it integrated into Photolab. But, I’m scratching my head as to why it has been placed on the photo ribbon. Is it possible to place it somewhere else? I only ask as having the ribbon on the bottom takes up valuable image real estate when processing.

I wonder how customisable a personal workspace is?

Regarding the current placement of the Nik Collection button, you’ve asked a reasonable question which can only be answered by DxO. Unfortunately, there is no option to move it to another location.

I would not hold my breath waiting for DxO to integrate the Nik Collection into PhotoLab. It is highly unlikely that it will ever happen for a number of reasons that I have touched on in the past and don’t have the time to revisit right now.

Nik shortcut is bottom right and you cannot set it anywhere within PL customization. even though it would be nice to add it elsewhere.

Yeah, thanks both. I’m just getting my head around the Advanced Workspace feature, so feels like being able to drop the NIK collection button within ‘Advanced’ seems to make sense. But, ok, sounds like I just need to get used to it.

@michaelbeecham was asking if the button could be placed somewhere other than on the Image Browser, to which the answer is no, at least in the Windows version.
