Migrate Project in Photolab 7 to Photolab 9

I am new to the group and am looking for a way to migrate Projects from Photolab 7 to Photolab 9.

When a new version of PhotoLab is installed, it reads the most recent settings and database of the previous version and only a few things need to be verified afterwards.

If you’ve already installed PL9 , you should see the projects you had in PL7.
If this is not the case, proceed as follows:

  1. Open PhotoLab 7
  2. Back up the database using the respective command from the menu
  3. Open PhotoLab 9
  4. Restore the database from the backup you just made and check if you see your projects.

PL9 shows projects in the left sidebar of both the Library and Customize views.

If you don’t have PL7 any more, restore it from an installer you might have saved or a backup.
