In Lightroom, I think you can compile a number of photographs into a contact sheet and save as a pdf. Is this possible in Photolab?
A photographer I follow does this and makes them available on Patreon, and I’d like to do the same.

No, I’m sorry but this is not possible
If you have a bit of programming experience, you could work with ImageMagic. Here is the interesting article on the subject:
Using Imagemagick to Create Contact Sheets (Montage)
You could select the images for the contact sheet in Photolab and save them together as jpg’s in a folder. You can then run the ImageMagic command “montage” on this folder.
No programming needed: Just print!
The printing dialog enables contact sheets on PDF - at least with what I’ve got. YMMV
Vielen Dank platypus!
But it’s quite long as every image is exported…
In addition, on a Mac, just open all the files you want in Preview, select them all and use the Print function to print from there to a PDF with up to 16 images per page.
If “long” refers to export time, then yes and no…it all depends on what kind of customising you want applied.
As PhotoLab does not provide exporting the built-in previews, some minimal processing will take place. On my Mac, printing the contact sheet for the 60 test images (total file size 1.3 GB) took 1’37’’ or about 1.6 seconds per image.
In my case, as I use DP for all the images, it takes time.
Imo, a contact sheet can show untreated images, except maybe for some Smart Lighting.
I thought there might be some easy way to do this… Using DXO print or Mac’s Preview to print to PDF is the answer. Brilliant, Thank you!!!
