Luma Contrast types not working after in PhotoLab 8.5.0 build 42

Yesterday evening I photographed a concert for the venue I regularly shoot for and today I started editing the photos.
I recently updated PhotoLab to its latest version (8.5.0 build 42) and this is the first time I’m using the new version.
I noticed that the three types of Luma Contrast (Light, Medium and Strong) do not affect the photo in any way. The curve underneath the dropdown in which you can select the type of contrast doesn’t reflect an altered curve as before in the previous version / update of PhotoLab.
I have contrast type “Light Contrast (Luma)” as part of my preset and this preset also does not affect the selection in de dropdown (it remains “Linear”) nor does it affect the shown curve or the displayed photo in the editor.

The Luma Contrast types have been rendered useless. Please fix this a.s.a.p.!

This is only a user forum. You need to report this as a bug to DxO. In the meantime, I have provided a workaround here

Thanks for pointing me to the workaround.
