Losses on export to Color Efex Pro

Using PL 7, I sometimes add text to an image by using the Instant Watermarking function under the fx tab. When the image is then exported to Color Efex Pro 4, the text is lost.

This has not always been the case and I think that it started when I upgraded from PL 6 to PL 7.

Does anyone know how to cure this?

With thanks

I have PL7.12.1, PL8.3.1, and Nik Collection 7.0.4 on Windows. It works as expected. Watermark text gets baked into the image, both when manually exported or via Nik Plugin selector, and for both jpeg and tiff formats.

Note that using Nik Collection plugin selector in PL7 is not supported for Nik4, so you have to export/import manually. See https://support.dxo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409304781201-Nik-Collection-compatibility-with-OSes-third-party-software .

Have a look that you have NOT chosen “without processing”.

(checked this on a tif-file with watermark text added
and used here “Export to application” as I’m on Nik 7)

Oops, forgot about one PL export option.
For Nik7 plugin selector on PL7/8, before choosing Nik app you can choose ‘Export settings’ and check if watermark will get overwritten:

Same for exports to disk from PL.
