On Friday I attended an online training session on “rescuing dull and boring photos” given by professional wildlife photographer Simon D’Entremont.
It was most enlightening! While the techniques certainly favour certain styles of wildlife photos, they can be applied in many cases for improved results. Here’s a fairly “boring” photo, subject-wise, that I think I am happy with my processing on, especially given the strong sunlight present.
