When I open - in Library view - a folder of images - for the first time after starting DPL - and then press “P” to pick one or more images, DPL switches to “Projects” and therefore displays no images.
When I press “U” or “X” first and only then “P”, the above does not happen.
I get this with DPL versions 2 and 3 on macOS Mojave on iMac 19,1
