I just bought the brand new Pureraw 4 and just activated it, after only one successful try with one CR3 raw image, the next time I drag another image to PR, I got this “adding files” box and it never get away, and I can do nothing about it. What a frustration.
Since upgrading to 4.6.0 adding files to the lightbox takes forever. This used to be a simple matter of seconds. Now it can take hours!
I didn’t know it took hours, I just don’t have the patience for it to be done, if it’s really the case, gosh that’s a massive glitch needed to fix ASAP. Did you find anyway to solve it?
Probably I’ve another issue, but same effect.
If I add a selection of photos from (or LRc or direct from directory), it takes AGES… to add them to DXO. Before this was seconds. After that I need some hours of other work to get them through the Denoise process.
Running DXO PureRaw 4.6.
Any clues?
Thanks.
I recalled reading similar comments about a month ago. If you search for “4.6.0 - adding files to lightbox terribly slow” you will find that conversation. When you do scroll down to the next to last comment. That comment was made by Puppy2022 in the post Puppy2022 writes “The more files the destination folder contains, the slower adding new files to the lightbox is.”
I don’t have folders with large numbers of files so I have never noticed the situation myself when adding files to the library ghtbox and can provide no further information. But, I did want to pass the information to you in case it can help you. If it does will you pass the information on to others.
Peace
This “stuck on adding files” issue happens with me, too. Even when adding a single file from a folder with only a few files. Using DxO PureRAW with previews is unusable for me now. I have to do the “instantly process” thing and make any changes to lens softness, etc. there.
