In PureRaw6 Im sending 86 .RW2 Raw files from Adobe Lightroom Classic ver 15.2.1 into DXO PureRaw6, and when the files are in Pure6, I make any adjustments as necessary and then select Process, the image process countdown isn’t working properly, I shall give an example here, The process gets to 56 out of 86 and the time remaining is 3 seconds and stays like that until the process has finished, on my computer it takes about 4 seconds to process an image so the counter should show somewhere around 1 min 30 seconds, All the files are processed properly but the countdown is out of sync, Im on Wndows 11
Process countdown and ETA take some time to get right. Early runs usually start with what seems to be a default value. After a while, estimated values can improve.
I’d not attach too much relevance to the display. Simply observe and see where things are going.
ETA used to be terrible in earlier releases, and if the don’t improve over time with PR6, I’d propose to open a ticket on support.dxo.com.
@platypus is of course right. When I back my photos up to the cloud, the tool I use usually starts saying the upload will take 4 days, even though it will only actually take minutes. Crucially, it trends towards the correct number.
But… the described situation is just not normal. While I expect the time to be inconsistent, the number of images already processed as a proportion of the total should produce a time-to-go much, much higher than 3 seconds, unless the first 56 were done in a matter of seconds, which I assume not!
I’d personally not be that put out, but if it concerns you, report it to DxO through their support page.
Ok thank you for your response,
many thanks for your reply
Mentioned in at least 4 threads on here and support is aware.
After the latest update it works with “Process in PureRAW” (not process instantly or direct). The others it still doesnt.
