By simply adding “Images to be processed with Prime” in the image sorting filter, wouldn’t that be enough?

No … how about you work on performance first, creating folders within the application, stability and perhaps some kind of hardware (like a midi board) to directly adjust there.
no - since prime NR takes longer I might want regular NR pictures rendered first
