NO. I don’t see the benefit too.
It would be interesting to understand the benefit of this feature !
Well, yes!
If it’s an option, maybe someone can make use of it.
That’s actually a very good point … why not, indeed;
- if there’s not much work involved, and/or there’s some worthwhile reason to make this change, AND
- if the option can be switched OFF - for those who do not want this behaviour.
You still have us mostly intrigued, at best, tho, Steven - - as it’s not at all clear why you’d go to the trouble to implement this curious option (??)

Why is this so important??

No

No. I don’t see any advantages.
I would say NO, since I don’t see a particular value, esp since I usually export images one at a time.
Perfect. Thanks for your answer!
Since almost no one seems to have any interest in this feature can you tell us what the reasoning was behind suggesting it? Maybe we’re missing something.

Hi @mwsilvers,
Today, noise reduction in PL (except HQ) doesn’t offer a full-screen preview: you can only drag the preview box (aka the “Magnifier center”) over your image to let PL render the correction. The only way to fully see the result is to export your file. There are users that export image by image, others that render a whole folder at the end of their editing and so on. I wanted to see if the proposed option could be handy for some users…If you export all of your images at once, with some pictures using Prime, maybe you’d like to render them first to check if the overall result is OK. If not, one could simply edit the image again while PL is still exporting the whole folder…Then, export it again (with PL putting it as the next one to render if the queue has not been fully exported yet) and so on…
From what I see, basically none of you see this as a useful feature to have…
Maybe my english is not so good, and I hope english native speakers can set a comment, but the first question for me sounds different to your last explanation.
The first for me is…having 30 Images to export, and 5 of the 30 uses Prime setting, to set the order for the 5 primes to first or last >>for me not important and so NO
The last explanation for me is…working on a picture using Prime, not only to see a little area of the prime reduction result, either have the possibilty to see whole picture with prime result >> for me YES
best regards
Hi @Guenterm,
I don’t know if my explanation wasn’t clear enough, but unfortunately no, having a full Prime preview in PhotoLab wasn’t what I was talking about
NO, because the quality of picture is not directly linked with the PRIME noise .
Sometimes, no need PRIME noise on kind of pictures who no need change noise …
So, no need priority processing link for pictures whit Prime noise .
Hi @StevenL…so I have to improve my english Thanks
Hi Steven
Even though the concensus seems to be ‘no’, it’s great that you asked us!
Thanks
No.
I agree with @Man
But we (mostly) have so much computing power: CPU, GPU, multi cores, Gigahertz, etc… there might be one day a possibility to calculate the preview in a new « viewer » window while continuing to work on something else…
I do not need this right now, it’s just an idea
No, very low priority
No, If I want Prime images first, I’ll do those separately.
