I have a Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS and its due to be supported in PL this month. However, when I opened some images in PL it actually gave me 3 options to use including the Sony FE 100mm F2.8 Macro. As both lenses have very good performances that lens module has worked very well. BUT with the right one due I thought how do I switch new (or indeed old) images over to using the correct lens module. I deleted the database have tried removing the lens name from the dop and neither resulted in it asking again which lens. I take it I will need to delete the old Sony macro module but without being able to workout how to edit the dop to get PL to again ask which module to use I am faced by thinking I would have to delete the dops/database losing the edits done which I am reluctant to do.
So has anyone any ideas how to get an image to change modules in PL?
Thanks so deleting the modal should either get the new module or a new list of options? Would that then use the existing dops do you think or do I have to do them all again using the new one?
As previously explained… delete the module. Then restart PL. If the settings are configured as follows…
you should receive a list of lens ambiguities (if any).

It’s very simple: Without the lens module, no lens corrections are applied. Try it out. You don’t need to delete the DOP file or the database.
Module selection depends on metadata in the image file and data stored in the PL module database. In earlier versions, I had to edit data in the module database in order to make PL choose the necessary module. I‘ve not tested such edits to create ambiguities though.
Editing the module database only helps until the DB is replaced by an update.
