While PL does not load DNG files from my smartphone, I use HEIF (heic) instead. It works, but loading is extremely slow. It speed up a little with V9.9 but still very slow. This is on Win11.
Is it only me or do others see this?
I think they only support Apple devices. I just tried my Samsung 26 ultra (which uses 10 bit in place of jpeg 8bit) and it caused PL 9.9.1 to lock up and had to use Task Manager to close the program. It did used to load very very slowly images and allow editing but again very slowly and was unusable. It was totally unusable and highlights the issue of refusing to support phones apart from Apple. Over the years there have been many customer attempts to get them to provide the same support as jpeg and they never succeeded just resulted in customers moving away to programs that allow all there images to be processed in one program.

My experience is with Samsung S23. So far, only sloooww loading is my problem.
With a 22 ultra support basically told me go away not supported when I tried that and it was unusbly slow
That was loading and doing anything.
