The issue with some keyboard shortcuts in PL is that PL reacts to many keys depending on given context.
As an example for easier to use (and more efficient) user interface design can be found in Lightroom Classic. It can open white balance, no matter where you are, be it in Library view, compare, preview etc.: Hit “W” and LrC opens the edit view and the white balance tool. No modifiers needed, and, again, it just works. Other keys are used to flip through the film strip, activate a comparison, open the crop tool etc.
