I am using RAF files with the Fuji X100V1 and posts that I have read say that I should see these simulations in PL6. When I load the photo, it briefly shows the correct simulation ( Acros monochrome in this example) then re-processes to standard colour. Love some feedback here.
What you briefly see is the JPEG image embedded in the RAW file. Once PhotoLab renders the RAW data, you see that instead.
You need to activate a FilmPack license and an option in the PhotoLab Preferences menu to get Fuji in-camera digital film renderings in PhotoLab. I believe PhotoLab 6 is new enough to support this, but am not certain.
Thanks Egregius…… I am exploring the options you have presented. I think it is true that I can’t see the film simulation as a RAF file and need to convert to see the simulated image and you need film pack or Fujifilm Raw Studio to achieve that.
If you have a license for FilmPack, you will see DxO’s version of the Fuji simulation used when the image was captured being applied to your raw file automatically.

Yeah, I get it thanks Mark. I was a little confused because I have some test images I shot in November last year of the film sims on x100v1 all in RAF files. Maybe DXO changed something since then. I will grab a copy of the film pack. cheers
