I realise that these sliders are presently only available with FilmPack, but I use them on an almost daily basis, but can only apply them globally.
As things stand, I am limited to Micro-contrast, which can be too harsh.
Along with the Tone Curve tool, this would be dream come true
Agreed and voted. I am used to C1 where virtually all controls are available globally and locally. I see no reason why there is a need to limit local controls?

I was wondering why I could not find fine contrast sliders in a local adjustment but it seems to be “as designed”.

Fine Contrast and local curve adjustment would be absolutely fantastic to have - and very useful.
