No water, no heat, no bathroom, but I owe nothing.
Lovely tones. Stark contrast as well as some beautiful transitions.
Nice! Would you be prepared to share technical details?
Details for the image would be 85 mm, f/11, 15s, ISO 200, cropped from 5:4 to 1:1. White balance, denoise in PL8, otherwise edited in Silver Efex not using a preset. The image was about the contrast and geometry, and while working I noticed the reflected light above the window in the center, so I tried to bring that into it as well. The light source is LED on a utility pole. I think I missed a dust spot right at the top edge of the frame at about the 1/3 line from the left.
Details of the house are originally built in 1905 with additions probably in the 1930’s and later, remodel in the '70s. Balloon frame, block, brick, stone and concrete foundation over a dirt crawlspace that had been partially dug out. We are having it additionally dug out and a masonry block utility basement built. We had electrical service upgraded in the summer. Water service is being updated but has stalled for whatever reason. Once the basement is done, heat and air will be addressed. I gutted the only bathroom myself and have been reframing the ceiling and floor to make two bathrooms, slowly, as I work full-time at my day job and am doing it alone.
Thanks for looking.
