DxO PureRaw 6 x AMD RX 580

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a serious issue with DxO PureRAW 6 and my AMD Radeon RX 580, and I’m hoping someone can help me understand what might be causing it.

DxO PureRAW 6 launches and works normally. I can import images and perform the usual operations without any problems. However, as soon as I start processing an image using DeepPRIME/Denoise with the GPU, my screen immediately goes black and the monitor loses signal.

The computer itself remains powered on, but it is no longer processing anything. There is no visible activity or progress, and I cannot get the display back. The only way to recover the computer is to restart it.

Interestingly, I can process the images using the CPU instead, and everything works correctly. However, CPU processing takes approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds per photo, which is obviously much slower than GPU processing.

This makes me suspect that the problem may be related to GPU acceleration, the AMD driver, or compatibility between DxO PureRAW 6 and the RX 580.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with DxO PureRAW 6 and an AMD RX 580?

Is there any specific setting I can change, or any recommended AMD driver version, that could help resolve this issue? I would also appreciate any suggestions for troubleshooting the GPU acceleration.

Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

My camera is Sony A7V, I used DxO PureRAW 3 in the same system to denoise raw files from Canon 1DX and Canon 1DX MK II and it works perfect !

Thanks in advance!

The problem will be the age of your graphics card. It will be too far below the minimum spec. for PR.

Is there any solution with this hardware ?

Not that I know of. Current versions of PureRAW and PhotoLab need serious GPU power.

I willl upgrade my GPU what is a good option for 600-800 euro ?

I have a Nvidia RTX 5070 12GB card and have no problems with that but you need to do your own research.
