I appreciate DxO’s technical achievements, but it’s disappointing how little attention is given to users when updates break essential features. Companies often forget that their success depends on the trust and loyalty of consumers — not just on profit margins. Respect for customers should be as important as innovation. I hope DxO learns from this and restores full support for AMD users.
Marcin, would you please clarify what you’re complaining about? Did you submit a support request at support.dxo.com and not receive an adequate reply? Or are you expecting DxO to pull the defective build and restore access to the previous one? (I personally think DxO should have devised a way to do the latter through customers’ DxO Store accounts or through the support website.)
Hi Greg,
Thanks for your message. To clarify the situation: yes, I submitted a support request at support.dxo.com as soon as I discovered that PureRAW 6.5.0 broke AMD GPU acceleration on my Radeon RX 6800S.
The issue was escalated to a developer, and today DxO released the 6.5.1 update which fully restores AMD GPU support. I can confirm that GPU acceleration is now working correctly again.
My feedback was specifically about 6.5.0 removing access to the previous working build and leaving AMD users without GPU support. Fortunately, the new update resolves the problem completely.
Thanks for engaging in the discussion.
Marcin
