Dxo PureRaw 3 won`t accept my Canon 5DMK4 CR2 files anymore

Hi everyone!

Lately my DXO PureRaw 3 software has problems opening my CR2 files from my Canon 5d Mark 4 camera. It used to be no problem but now everytime I pull a CR2 into the software it says that it cannot be opened and that it might be corrupt. That is not the case as I can easily open them in Photoshop.

Is it because of an upgrade of PureRaw lately? CR2 is still a common standard, the 5D still a very popular cam.

Can anybody tell me why that is so and can I do anything about it.

Thanks!

I don’t have PureRAW but my copy of the latest version of PL (9.9.1 for Windows) has no problems opening my old .CR2 RAW files from my old Canon 400D.

You don’t give the full error message but is it possible that you are trying to reopen the proccessed output files generated by PureRAW, which being already processed are no longer RAW files and thus not compatible with PureRAW. In other words are you sure you are trying to open a genuine .CR2 file?

sRAW and mRAW formats aren’t supported, have you changed this ?

Hi Franky, yes indeed! It was switched to mRaw, so this might be the reason!

Thanks for the quick help!
