Hi, Mi44. That’s a lot to read through for no gain. Why do you think this is a problem with DxO PhotoLab and not Resolve?

Hi Egregius
because Resolve reads dng generated in Adobe camera raw (Ai Denoise) without problems.
I prefer Dxo Denoise to Adobe.
Thank you.

According to the link you provided:
"
Adobe DNG converted CR3 raw photo, Resolve Studio can not correctly handle it.
"
The problem is clearly on BlackMagic side. DNG is a “standard” created and controlled by Adobe.

Why not just use uncompressed 16-bit TIFF, perhaps with colorspace info or ICC profile included?
That will be compatible with almost anything. I use it all the time for similar purposes without any serious problems.

Do you really need LinearRaw in DR??

Yes, I need the RAW-Dng.
I have tried to convert RAW with Iridient C-Transformer, Capture One and everything is ok.
The problem is only with Dxo. :frowning:

What do you mean by “RAW-Dng”?

Neither of these software will produce RAW DNG, i.e. image data with PhotometricInterpretation=CFA tag, afaik. You can use Adobe DNG Converter to get a RAW DNG from a RAW file, but that doesn’t work with DR.

What is the PhotometricInterpretation tag for the full resolution image produced by the mentioned software?
Can you provide some samples to check?

???

Sorry but I didn’t understand.
Resolve reads dng generated by
Adobe dng converter.

Adobe DNG Converter writes the original R, G, G, B data and DxO PhotoLab writes demosaiced RGB, RGB, RGB, RGB data.

Maybe DR has a problem with that? To check, you can convert a file with Adobe DNG Converter using the linear (demosaiced) setting which hides somewhere in its options.

With this setting (linear), Davinci does not read dng files. Thanks.
