HI, I heard that current version has function denoising plus partial effecting.
Could I have some information how to have and to execute this feature ?
Welcome @Toshi
I believe you’re referring to targeted noise reduction?
If so, that is done using the Local Adjustments tool.
This is from the manual:
Local denoising
If your image has been denoised with one of the DxO DeepPRIME methods, the local adjustments let you refine denoising on parts of your image. After local adjustments activation and masking with one of the available selection tools, you can use the following sliders:
- Luminance: lets you smooth-out or amplify the luminance noise, to find a different balance than the default setting (40) between graininess and detail preservation.
- Force details: determines the threshold of detail by altering the noise mode used. Set to 0 by default, the slider will extract more details when moved to the right, towards a less natural rendering, when slid to the left the rendering will be softer, with fewer details.
So you’d have to turn on noise reduction for the entire image in this section:
And then you’d go mask off the part you want to denoise even further (or less) in Local Adjustments. There, you’ll find the Denoise section as well where you can increase or decrease the Luminance and Force Details settings for the masked portion:
