Deep prime xd3/xd2s beta not working

Hi, can anyone please help me?

I have DXO photolab 8, and recently had the addition of deep prime xd3/xd2s beta, but it is greyed out, and cannot be used, how do I use it?

It will not work on JPEG’s. Only on raw’s, tiffs, and recognised DNG’s as far as I know

I only shoot raw images.

@Caradoc I believe that it is a pre-release of XD3 to provide more advanced de-noising for Fuji X-Trans sensors, and then not all X-Trans sensors, who have had to rely on DP XD denoising until the PL8.5 release.

If you don’t have a suitable sensor then it is greyed, out as it is for my Lumix (Panasonic) G9

Hi,

From which camera are your RAW files coming ?

DeepPRIME XD3 works only for some Fuji files
DeepPRIME XD\XD2S for others DC

Thank you, that makes sense, it does say trans, I just wrote it down wrong.

I would prefer go get it hidden instead of greyed Out.

… or shorter as in PL7 and without preview now

Or as an option in preferences, similar as IT IS for Flicker. I hate space taken by unused Buttons.

When you do that then some people complain as to why in their software the option is missing. There is always somebody that do not like these cosmetic choices one way or the other. Being grayed out is the more transparent way and generally people understand it is because this option is not usable at the moment.

why not visible by default and hide by preferences setting. This would fit both requirements. Look at the Flicker Option in DxO.
