For some reason, PureRAW 6 processes photos from the Ricoh GRIV 1EV darker. I always have to brighten them by 1 EV afterward so they’re the same darkness as the originals. This doesn’t happen with other cameras (Nikon D700, D750, GR). Is there any GRIV user out there who doesn’t experience this?
Maybe that the GR underexposes for highlight preservation and PuR doesn’t take this into account yet.

I discovered something interesting. The problem with darkened photos of GRIV only occurs with those taken without a flash. The ones taken with a flash are all processed correctly…
Could well be that the camera sets exposure differently when flash is involved. Looking at metadata could possibly help to reveal the cause.
For practical use, just compensate the underexposure… Easy if you use a custom preset. But then, images taken with flash could be off.
I’d try smart lighting - with everything else turned off - for exploration.
