Correct way to prepare files for FilmPack? (Especially regarding color.)

Hi,

My current workflow consists of adjusting and post-processing RAW-files in Lightroom, which I den want to batch-process in the FilmPack. To my understanding, this is more or less the same process as using the Lightroom plug-in; a non-RAW file with all current adjustments is handed to FilmPack which then does its thing.

However, I’ve one burning question: How exactly should colors be prepared before handing anything to FilmPack? Which Profiles should be applied for optimal results? Should I profile my camera? Should I perhaps create an individual profile for my camera?

Long story short; what does FilmPack expect or prefer when it comes to color handling of non-RAWs that are fed into it?

The cleaner and more balanced you can present your image to FilmPack, the easier it will be to add a colour treatment and tune it.

It’s roughly the process a video editor goes through in correcting exposure and colour balance before adding the colour look to a video.

There’s a significant advantage to using FilmPack within PhotoLab: one can add the colour rendering but continue to edit exposure from the RAW file.
