Copy/Paste not working in PL 9.7.0 and Tahoe 26.4.1

I did not have this issue with earlier version of PL. I shot 800 photos. culled them down to 200. The white balance kept shifting. If I corrected a photo and tried the key combination for copy/paste all correction, it simply did not work. Not by use of hot keys, nor by menu. If I made a preset, the change would populate. If I selected several photos, any change to the one selected would populate to the others. This function worked in earlier versions of PL, and it seems to be something that should be straightforward. What am I missing?

Does it work when you use right/click and select copy and then right-click on the next images to select Paste ?

if it does then it might be misinterpreting the hot keys for some reason
