Construction Work Cart

I went for a walk with my Fuji X100F, and came across this rusty and beat up cart, started to walk by it, and then decided to (simultaneously) capture it in both jpg (Fuji Across 100 simulation) and Raw. The film simulation looked pretty much like what I wanted, but with cropping and adjusting the lighting. To be honest, I got what I hoped for.

The Fuji X100F was set to capture both the jpg file (film simulation) and a normal RAW image.

Here’s that result from the RAW (RAF) file:

Attempt #2

I wasn’t satisfied with what I captured last time, so this is an attempt to make the Work Cart view a little better. I guess I “cheated” a little to get the effect I saw in my mind.

You’re all free to twist it around differently…

Well, to be brutally honest, for me, it doesn’t work.

Well, “brutally honest” is good.
Back to the drawing board, er, camera.

This was the only other photo from this morning, but there’s no magic, no mystery, no nothing worthwhile. I found it interesting anyway, but perhaps I shouldn’t even be posting it here. It was within easy walking distance of the other photo.

Some days are good, and other days, not.
Maybe it’s just me.

more magic than the pics above
