In NIK (in Silver Exfex and Colour Effex) the ClearView function from dxo Photolab is available for some time. As far as I can see, however, this is a global functionality.
Is there a way to limit it to only a part of the image (without using Photoshop)?
As you said, this doesn’t exist in conjunction with Control Points.
In Nik5 → SEP3 you can try to use
Structure and Fine Structure instead,
which I didn’t see in → CEP5.
Another possibility would be the Output Sharpener,
where one can (also) apply Local Contrast
(just that the handling is quite different).
