Can't load Nik 8

Upgraded to PL9 and Nik8. I loaded PL9 successfully but Nik8 is not working. It shows as a button on the photo library screen and not on the customization screen. When I press the plugin button I get a screen that says export settings and the plug in is not launched.

Can anyone help?

there was recent update on all dxo software, did you downloaded nik latest from your dxo account since?
