Can't activate trial

I’ve just downloaded the trial and when I try to activate it on a Windows 10 PC, I get a “the connection to our sever failed” message. No VPN, open in the firewall, DNS set to 8.8.8.8 or others as suggested. Nothing. So many annoyances for trying a software

How many times have you tried? Sometimes, it helps to wait a while and retry later.

I would suggest you contact DxO’s support directly. This is a primarily a user forum to which DxO rarely responds.

Currently I don’t have any connectivity issues with DxO sites, so there’s probably problem with your Internet provider (is it BT, btw?). Occasionally DxO had some problems with expired TLS certificates or overloaded servers, but then the problem was seen by all users and fixed quickly.
You may try for example:
nslookup activation.dxo.com.
nslookup activationv2.dxo.com.
nslookup iav.dxo.com.
and same for “ping” command, if your provider does not filter ICMP, or check using “curl -v -i”, if you have curl.
