Today I installed the latest Nik Collection version (I think 4.3) on my PC (Win 8.1 64bit).
It now says, when I try to run Viveza or Silver Efex, that he cannot find the SetThreadDescription point in
C:\Program Files\DxO\Nik Collection\bin\DxOFramework.dll that allows him to carry on.
All other plugin run fine (I use that along with DxO PL 4).
Any idea?
I deinstalled and reinstalled several times, same issue.
I did tell him when deinstalling to keep the presets.
Last update: the support team issued a tool for cleaning up after deinstalling nik collection, but it still won’t work. I stopped trying to solve this item as I will change may computer in early 2023 anyway, so I stay with 4.3.2 until then. With the new computer I will change to Photolab 5 and NK 5 anyway.
