Can PL8 do batch rename of files?

I thought I’d read about PureRAW 4 having a new batch rename feature. Would really like to have this in PL8. Is it hiding somewhere?

PhotoLab has had a batch rename feature for years. I don’t remember exactly when it was added, but it may have been PhotoLab 4. There have been no changes to the current batch rename feature in PhotoLab 8.

Spot on. And it’s still there in PL8. @Jacques4242 simply select more than one image and click on the Rename… item in the context menu.

I guess. The options already available are quite limited, but [custom text + sequential number] works for me. This feature, along with slightly faster click-through in PL8, may enable me to ditch LRC, which I currently use for culling and renaming selected images.
