I just installed Nik collection 6.3 on top of DxO Photolab Elite 6.1.1.0 (Mac version, M2 Macbook, Sonoma 14.1.1). Starting the Nik applications standalone works fine, but engaging any Nik application from within DxO is cumbersome. There is supposed to be a button in the DxO browsers to send a photo from DxO to one of the Nik applications. For some reason this “Nik button” is not there, and I have to go through the DxO export function. The end result is the same, but it is supposed to be more elegant. Reinstalling Nik did not make the Nik button appear in DxO. Why is it not there?
Check PhotoLab’s settings. The switch to show/hide the Nik button is on the first tab.
