Bug report DxO Pureraw 5, preferences are not saved

DxO pureraw doesn’ t save my preferences. I check the button for storing the files in a subdirectory of the photos but it saves the processed files in the main directory.

i upgraded from version 4, so mebe the upgrade didn’t work put well. Uninstalled version 5 and reinstalled it, but the bug persits.

Yes, I’m having exactly the same issue. It really struggles to save a preset. Most times it won’t but randomly it will. The next issue is that it won’t action the preset. Eg, I’ve tried to set up 2 presets, 1 where it saves the files to the original folder, the 2nd to save into a subfolder. After 20 to 30 attempts it finally created the preset but it won’t work anyway. Now all my OEM presets don’t work either. I have to select everything manually each time.

It is now a real pain to save in a folder. RAW 4 and previous versions would auto create a DxO folder in the original file folder and place the images there. It simply does not work. I have to search for my original folder as a named DxO folder. I wish RAW 4 worked on my machine. It does not see/use my GPU and DXO and me have given up on 4. I would love to go back to 4 as 5 is too buggy and complicated for my workflow.

it was the same with me. Version 4 worked with making the subdir. But as soon as i installed version 5 it woulld not save my settings.

Windows or Mac?
It works normally for me (Win)…

In the Output Setting / Destination palette:

  • Original image folder checked
  • In Subfolder button active. I create a DxO folder
  • Preset: Save with current settings…

The outputs are in the DxO subfolder of the current image directory.

But be careful: The area where you write the name of the subfolder (immediately to the right of “in Subfolder”) is not very easy to find.

It’s on Mac. It worked in version 4 and as soon I updated to 5 it didn’t work anymore. Uninstalled, reinstalled, removed plist file. Nothing works.
