Hello everyone.
I stumbled across a problem in Nik Collection 7 which also happens in v8 to which I just upgraded:
The problem is as follows:
When I’m editing the image in Silver Efex (doesn’t matter if it’s the Photoshop Plugin, or the Standalone version) the applied effect, as well as the exported TIFF from the standalone looks brighter and I can’t get my head around the problem.
I tried different workarounds with different image profiles like PhotoRGB, Adobe RGB, sRGB etc. but non of it works or has any impact at all.
Here are some examples:

There’s a notable difference in brightness and opening the TIFF in an external image viewer isn’t any better (at least it’s not Photoshop acting up ?)
Is there any solution for this? Am I missing something?
