I run Pure Raw to do noise reduction on hundreds of files at a time. In Pure RAW 3 it automatically re-imports back into Lightroom Classic to a folder called “DXO”. I edit my photos while the other files are processing. When I run it through Pure RAW 4 I don’t see the option to automatically re-import back into Lightroom Classic. I have to wait until all the files are complete then import them. How do I get Pure RAW 4 to automatically re-import as soon as a file is complete?
I followed all the instructions you provided but still does not give the option to import back into Lightroom Classic until the last image is processed. They you physically have to click the “import” button.
I keep having to go back to the “Pure RAW 3” software to have the “auto reimport to Lightroom Classic” option.
Anyone? I am about to get busy again and have to run Pure Raw on thousands of images and I can’t wait for them to complete before re-importing them back in to Lightroom Classic.
I don’t use Lightroom (I use ACDSee Ultimate 2025), but I think (hope) my workflow might work for you, too.
I select images in ACDSee - right click - choose DxO PureRAW 4 from my list of external editors.
I then set up settings for the images that are now in the lightbox and a destination folder of my choice.
Now, once one image has processed, I am able to navigate to that folder via ACDSee and work on processed images as they arrive, without having to wait for all of them to complete.
I hope this might help.
Thank you for the reply. I remember using ACDSee years ago. I enjoyed using it. I’m very heavily invested in Lightroom with my presets and I also using “Aftershoot” with edits alongside if Lightroom. I really appreciate you sharing your workflow. Thank you.
I have discovered a work around. It isn’t as seamless as when DXO had it as an option but it still works.
Key steps:
• In DxO PureRAW:
o Go to the “Export” settings within your processing workflow.
• • Select a specific folder as the output destination for your processed images.
• • Choose the desired export format (DNG is typically recommended for seamless integration with Lightroom).
• •
• In Lightroom:
• Go to “File” > “Auto Import”.
• • Select the folder specified in your DxO PureRAW export settings as the monitored folder.
• • Adjust any other import settings like file handling or metadata as needed.
•
