Is DXO Looking at creating an AI Object removal tool?

This is primarily a DxO owned user site. You would have to ask DxO directly at their support site https://support.dxo.com/hc/en-us
However, you would be wasting your time. DxO never divulges what new features are being planned and when they will be implemented. My best guess is that since their recent introduction of AI masking, it is something they are considering for a future release.

Probably yes. Other apps can do it and DxO must follow in order to preserve their market share. My advice: Don’t wait for it, at least, don’t hold your breath.

You’d hope this feature would appear in PL10 but as per your advice, and my experience of DxO’s snail pace approach to software development, I’m not holding my breath.

If enough people vote for it here, DxO will take popular interest into consideration. I added my vote.
Except there are many other much longer standing ‘feature requests’ with a fair few votes that continue to languish in Never Never Land.
This is one thing I miss in DXO that other software has. The current object removal in DXO leaves a lot to be desired.
