Not in Windows either. First time I exported to Affinity I had to press the Browse button and search until I found the app. I wonder if this just is a workaround for the sandbox version, (.msix not .exe) in Windows that cannot be seen by normal Windows search.

Iâm on Windows here, but I donât see an option for an âAffinityâ button on the filmstrip:
Granted, I may have misunderstood this in the New Features page. Also, I have the .exe version of Affinity installed as opposed to the .msix version in case that makes a difference.

Youâve never messed up an email?
Disappointing for sure, but hardly worth any angst. One reviewer noted the new Whites slider but that it gets no mention anywhere in the information he was given with the preview copy. Is this an equally shocking error?

Actually, what DxO said was; âDespite what you may have seen in the press âŚâ - which implies that some 3rd party got ahead of themselves ⌠not a declaration by DxO.
You are right, DxO has not advertised this feature. Sorry not being clear enough.

It says: âExport to Affinity: transfer images into Affinity by Canvasâ
There are however no further mentioning of Affinity
In the DxO homepage there is an article about the new version, and a list of new and old features. One item states:
â Send images directly to Affinity for pixel-level editing with a dedicated button alongside PhotoLabâs export options
There is no exclusive export button for Affinity! It doesn´t need to be either. An export alternative for Affinity has to be configured the same way as any other export to any other application - in my case Topaz has to be . Press Browse and do that after you have activated âExport to applicationâ in Preferenses - Export.
There is no bug here. Just configure it.
When you have done so and you have tried your first export to Affinity that program will stick as the active application when you open Export to âappliocationâ the next time:
As I said before it is really strange DXO won´t let us configure our short cuts ourselves. Capture One has it and iMatch DAM has is and I´m sure even Lightroom has it but DXO Photolab? Nono!
If there is anything to write here it is why this has been popping up as a new feature in Photolab 10. The only thing new (which is good) is that we now can activate this export feature in Preferences. And this is nothing exclusive for Affinity at all. This goes for all application we want to export our pictures to.
I brought this up with DXO support. Their answer has been that they delayed this Affinity integration to a later update as it depends on other software (I guess Affinity) not released yet. So we have to wait. It was probably in the Beta that some YouTubers used but is it not in the 10.0 release.
