… the menu items on the target image are not available via the context menu items, only. But they are available via the keyboard shortcut (Cmd-Shift-V) and even that doesn’t always work
Joanna,
I’ve just tried this on the Windows version of PL8 (PL8.1.0. Build 434) and PL7 (PL7.10.0 Build 287).
With both of these I created a VC and Reset its corrections, copied the settings from the Master and tried to Paste selected corrections… I was able to do this OK with both the shortcut (Ctrl-Alt-V) and with the right-click context menu with both the versions of PL I tested.
I’m on Windows and use Copy/‘Paste selected corrections’ via the context menu very often. No such problem here with PL7/8 (never), so it’s probably specific to some Macs.
@Joanna – I am on macOS 14.7 and am experiencing the same behavior you report.
I am on PL 8.1.0.35 (laptop) and this is indeed new behavior. I’m not in my studio right now, but will check to see if I have an earlier PL 8 version to test this behavior.
Quite puzzling: re 8.1.0 build 35. Today, on my studio machine, the copying and pasting functionality was working as expected (it wasn’t yesterday). On my laptop today, the functionality is still not working.
Both machines are running 8.1.0 build 35. Both machines also have 8.0 build 32 installed. The riddle is, why the difference in function?
Yes, I am having the same problem on my Mac Studio M2Max. This is a critical function that worked so brilliantly in previous versions of Photolab. Now, not being able to copy and paste perspective corrections to multiple bracketed shots for architectural photography is devastating to the workflow…
