Hi
I’m new to photolab and I’m watching a PL8 youtube video where you can add a tool to the histogram by clicking on the right of the word histogram which brings up a list of tools. Is this not a feature in PL9?
This is what I have:
thanks

Hi and welcome to the user forum.
Please post a link to the video you mentioned !
In PL8 + 9 I only see this
Wow..That was so quick, thank you. This is a snip from the video. Also I should be able to click on the move/zoom window but i cant. It’s probably user error. I’m on Windows
Colin Thank you. Yes, I cant see the drop down list..
Replied to Wolfgang as well cheers
Simply right-click, and you should see the same six entries as in my post. You can organize these as you like.
…and if you customize them with “TONE CURVE 2” like I did…
.
The video shows the Mac version with the “pizza menu” (?). You can do the same thing on Windows, just slightly differently.
have fun
There aren’t all these tools in the drop-down menu in the Win version, to add tools, you have to drag and drop from the original palettes.
Thanks everyone. As a few of us thought. It’s a difference between Windows and Mac versions
I’ve been wishing for this too! Having the ability to tweak exposure or shadows directly on the histogram would save so much time jumping between panels. It’s a standard feature in a few other RAW editors, so it’d be great to see DxO implement it.
As soon as you adjust the Tone curve, the underlying histogram becomes visible.
This gives you both: a clear view of the histogram with RGB, R, G, B, or L,
and the same thing in the Tone curve tool.
