Activation on second device

DxO support doesn’t seem to be able to solve my problem, so I’m trying my luck on the forum, assuming I’m not the only one in this situation.

I installed and activated PureRaw 4 on my desktop some time ago, then I had to reinstall Windows on that computer. I assume the computer name changed in the process, and PureRaw 4 asked for the activation code again

Today I want to activate PureRaw 4 on my laptop but I can’t because apparently, the two activations that come with my license have been used. Support is asking me the old name of my computer, and I don’t know it. Without that computer name, they aren’t willing to do anything to help me with the activation on my second computer.

If anyone has been in a similar experience and managed to get around that surprising hurdle, I would very much appreciate any useful information you might have.

Without having verified this:

  • I’d check installation logs and backups.

Where these files can be found, I cannot say, I’m on macOS.
