After updating to 9.4.1, build 38, on my Macbook Pro/Tahoe 26.2, Apple’s Quick Look and Preview app will not open TIF files created by this version, but they do still opens TIF files created by the previous 9.4.1 build. I have rebooted and cleared the Quick Look cache (Terminal: qlmanage -r cache).
Thank you for letting me know! I’ve reinstalled, rebooted, relaunched Finder, cleared Quick Look cache, etc. to no avail, so I’ve submitted a support request to DXO.
No such issue with PL 9.4.1 (38) on macOs 14.8.3 on 2019 5k iMac.
I recommend you download a fresh installer from your shop account, install it and try again.
Occasionally, DxO has recommended to also remove files and folders from ~/Library and /Library before installing the app again. Keeping the license files should not hurt.
(~/Library is normally hidden. Press Shift-Command-Period to reveal hidden files. Press the combo again to return to “normal”)
Thanks for the tips, platypus! I’ve just completed the steps you suggested, removing all the DXO-related references (including hidden) in ~/Library, and reinstalled with a fresh installed. Still no joy, but I’ve also added this additional information to the support request. Thank you!
